I wonder sometimes if, in families large and small, we would quite be able to savor the delicate differences between the sugar and the spice, if there was only the single, crisp, flavor? Well, of course we wouldn’t, I suppose, as the air between would not exist. What I mean to say (as opposed to writing poetry in comment boxes) is that I am not unfamiliar with being the sturdy, oaken angel with which a certain personage of a smallish seven years needs to wrestle. (Mind you, he is also the one who plans on becoming a priest).

I’ve looked it up: Lost isn’t to return until February! Well. I’ll have to put it out of my mind, then, that’s much too far away. I’ll start worrying over what’s going to happen ’round abouts New Year’s.

And thank YOU for stopping by! This is a quiet little corner of the internet and it’s so nice to have a visitor.

I’m champing at the bit for LOST too. And trepidatious about the ending! I saw a speech by J.J. Abrams once; he brought out a “mystery box” he’d purchased at a magic store as a kid–a box with question marks on it, like a grab bag, you don’t know what’s inside until you open it. AND HE HAS NEVER OPENED IT. Decades later, it’s still in the wrapper with the question marks. Because for him, it is more interesting as a mystery, he says. And listening to him tell this story, I thought Uh-oh, he’s not looking for the same thing in a story that I am, he’s not necessarily wanting all the loose ends tied up in a satisfying bow…

We shall see.

It occurred to me, whilst scrubbing potatoes, that I really ought stop by and say hello.

I never watched ‘Alias,’ though I’d probably like it. (Those dimples! Who could resist JG’s dimples?!). Am just now wondering when ‘Lost’ is due to return. But I’m worried over the (impending) ending — I tend to get quite cross when (fictional) things don’t end the way I’d write them!

(I’m rarely blogrolled, very sweet of you *smile*)

I don’t think I added salt to the potato water ….

Clint I am embarrassed to admit is the man with Stacy. I want to see a show where they show you how to look decent on a $50 clothing budget. How hard is it to look good with a budget of $1000???? This is why I can’t understand how any celebrity could look tacky — you have money and people for your kids to spit up on–what’s your problem?

Okay, now I can’t remember who I’m thinking of — I went to Soleil Moon Frye’s website and she didn’t look at all like blossom and then I realized that wasn’t blossom but punky brewster and I never watched that show so I made the same mistake as you — or is Quinn Cummings the one in blossom–that doesn’t sound right either…
